2020 Tally Tango OYO Edition

Tally Tango 2020 The OYO Edition

Entry is limited to 50 per category on this do it yourself adventure, Link will be active on August 9th @ 9am.

Hello, and Good Day Fellow Adventurers,

It goes without saying that we are all experiencing an unprecedented experience in our lives. The turn of events over the past months has put me in a bind. Mainly because I feel a deep sense of responsibility for the safety of riders and the safety of the towns that are involved in the Tango Route. I have received lots of questions and want to make an official announcement regarding this year's Tango.

IN SHORT, there will be a Tango in 2020. There will not be a group start, there will not be a before or during the ride party. There will be a different format this year altogether.

Riders who decide to participate, will have From October 1 to October 24th to complete the route and submit their checkpoint requirements(4 this year, with a bonus 5th checkpoint).

For riders who can complete the route in its entirety completely self-contained, not entering any commercial establishments and only using externally available water sources will receive a 2-hour bonus.

Riders who complete a video documented Swim at the base of the Aucilla Rapids will receive a 1 hour time bonus.

Instead of just a patch, riders will receive an additional item of schwag, still trying to decide what keepsake to make.

Riders will have to submit their scores to get their patch and their keepsake.

We will also add 2 pack raft options, and riders are free to choose if they want to go clockwise or Anti-Clockwise

I will post up the registration LINK on August 9th. Registration will be limited to 50 for the 177 and 50 for the 277.

INFINITY reward is still up for grabs, and there will be a special prize for the fastest know time on each of the routes.

Keep in mind, that proceeds from these events, cover the overhead and the stewardship that all the routes require, and its a ton of work. Your support and participation are appreciated.

Finally, I will ride the route as well this year and expect to be self-contained for the entirety of my ride.

Please spread the word and thank you,

Take Care,

Karlos aka The Singletrack Samurai.
