The Kings Road

The 2024 Edition of the Cross Florida Kings Road will begin on October 26th at Civil Twilight. It will showcase 215 miles of the finest mixed gravel-friendly terrain available and will start at the Jena Boat Ramp and End on the Atlantic coast, down by the beach, next to the right of the Flagler Beach Pier.
The group start will be draft-legal and, will challenge riders to complete the course as quickly as possible, although riders are free to complete the challenge without the constraints of cut-offs or time limits.
This is a self-supported ride, there are no sag wagons, and no support vehicles allowed, except being able to draft, riders must maintain this self-supported status throughout the event.
Your registration of 55$ includes the route information, a trail guide, a resource waypoint file, and one souvenir.
There will be a shuttle available, spots are limited to the first 30 folks who register for this option. The shuttle will pick riders up in Flagler Beach at noon on October 25th, and transport riders to Steinhatchee. The designated parking spot for shuttle riders is approximately 1 mile from the finish line. The price of the shuttle is 120$, add that ticket option to your cart to secure your spot. Shuttle spots are refundable as long as it's canceled 4 weeks before the event start date.
Route Files, Guide, and Waypoint Files will be final and event-ready by August 1st. Once you register, you will get a link to a RWGPS event link that will contain the route and a Google Drive folder that will contain the guide and other information. You must allow messages from karlos@singletracksamurai.com to receive this information. If not, it will go to your spam folder. Route info is licensed per individual and must be downloaded from the Google Drive folder and opened with a compatible program to use and view.

Be prepared
There will be no cue sheets provided for this route, only a GPX file and instructions on how to use said file. Riders are required to use a GPS, Garmin Etrex 20 or better is recommended.
Get the Route
Route creation is a tedious task that requires Annual involvement. We ask that folks make a minimum donation of 40$ information for the route and the patch The route gets sent as a google drive shared folder. You have to download the route out of the folder to utilize the information. The folder includes:
Route File GPX (need a program to open and view this file)
Route Trail Guide(updated every year once a year)
Route Waypoint files for relevant and key information.

Make your payment as friends and family and in the notes include your mailing address if you paid for the patch. Patches are available while supplies last. I regularly check the account and send out information and share the file throughout the day, each and every day. There may be delays if I am out scouting or riding, so please be patient. Dropping me a friendly reminder via email doesn’t hurt!
Collect the patch
Every time you register for a ride with me...you get a patch designed by myself and a team of artist and collaborators...each patch has meaning and a story to it. There are limited quantities available. If you would like one Pay Pal me 7$, include your name and address in the notes and I will send it to you.
