Registration for the 2025 Florida Divide is Live 

The Florida Divide is the ultimate and comprehensive Florida off-road experience. Traverse the entire state utilizing as much off-road riding as possible.

Every year in the Spring, riders come from all over to ride this route. Riders have two start and finish locations to choose from and using the “on your own” Format, riders can also start from the south and go north.

Here are the 4 options:

Open Pond in Conecuh National Forest Alabama to Key West Florida 1500+- miles

Fargo Georgia to Key West Florida 900 +- Miles

Open Pond to Flamingo Florida 1400 +- Miles

Fargo to Flamingo 800+- Miles

What you are purchasing is the information to ride the route. This information is licensed per individual and cannot be transferred to another rider or refunded. Participating in self-supported off-road the grand depart is a benefit provided as a courtesy by the adventure coordinator and all folks who purchase the route information will get an invite.

Rules are traditional self-supported rules for riders who wish to be scored. If you just want to tour the route, follow whatever rules you like!

Although there will be a group start, riders are free to traverse the route and have their effort recorded at any time.

SPOT or Garmin INReach Trackers are required to be scored and are monitored on a public map created by Trackleaders.

Get the  route

Route creation is a tedious task that requires Annual involvement.  We ask that folks make a minimal donation of  80$.  The route gets sent as a google drive shared folder. You have to download the route out of the folder to utitlize the information.  The folder includes:

  • Route File GPX (need a program to open and view this file)

  • Route Trail Guide(updated every year once a year)

  • Route Waypoint files for relevant and key information.

  • My Brain to pick information from

I regularly check the account and send out information and share the file throughout the day, each and every day.  There may be delays if I am out scouting or riding, so please be patient.  Dropping me a friendly reminder via email doesn’t hurt!
