A dirt road Odysee into Olustee, Osceola National Forest, and Back.
The Olustee Overland is a party pace, low-pressure, choose-your-own-adventure dirt road ride on routes created by Graham Partain that offer a ton of new ground for riders to explore. There are three route options available:
The 96-mile trip to LuLu Land
The 128-mile Olustee Loop
The 53 mile Battle Loop.
All the routes are rich in good roads and provide riders the chance to immerse themselves in the surrounding areas. Two weeks before the ride, you will get a link to an RWGPS event, follow the simple steps to drop the routes right into your app under the “my events” tab. Using this feature allows you to use the app for navigation or export the gpx for loading directly into your preferred unit with no additional subscriptions or membership cost.
Your 25$ participant fee includes both routes info, fees for parking at the start of the ride, the ability to use the RWGPS app for navigation, and a souvenir. You can also pay an extra 10$ to join us for a campout the night before the start (the camping location will be within a 20 minute drive from the start location). Route info will be sent 2 weeks before the event, once sent there are no refunds available.
There is no need to overpack on food or water as there are plenty of store stops along the way. Remember, This is a self-supported ride. There will be no support vehicles or sag wagons.
